The project, which was nominated by the building control officer, was for the commercial and partnering approach achieved in delivering the scheme. As a winner in its category, the project was also automatically put forward for the Staffordshire County annual BUILT IN EXCELLENCE awards.
The industry and its customers value the awards, because local authority Building Control, which is entirely independent and unbiased, awards them. ‘Highly Commended’ the project was chosen from over 9,000 projects assessed.
Clugston Construction was presented with the award at a luncheon sponsored by Lichfield District Council and was accepted by Russ Pask on behalf of the Clugston team, which also included Steve Siddall and Neil Bird.
Paul Gouland marketing director at Clugston Construction commented:
“For the project to be chosen from such a large number, is testament to the hard work and commitment the entire team put into the refurbishment.”
